This week's Agenda: Monday: I will be away from school today at a professional development session. The guest teacher will be doing a practice quiz with you today for topics 1.0-1.4 (our first three topics). We will review the practice quiz on Tuesday and have our final topic 1-3 quiz on Thursday. Continue working Tuesday: Review practice quiz, follow up with any reteaching we need to do (using quiz results to inform us what we need to cover again). We will then be moving into our next topic if time depends - devices that transform energy. Wednesday: We have our Central High School and CT Centre tours. Returning to school around 2:15 pm at which point we will run an activity in the gymnasium. Thursday: Topic 1-3 quiz - Both written and non-written questions. Time depending, continuation of next topic. Friday: TBA (may be a science activity with Ms. O'Keefe Greetings,
This week's agenda: Monday: topic 2.0 - Introduction to electric theory and voltage, current, and resistance, V= I*R practice. Tuesday: Topic 2.2 - Modeling and measuring electricity. River analogy to closed circuits, Ohm's Law Wednesday: Revisiting the Voltage and current lab. Thursday: Student Conferences! Friday: Ms. O'Keefe will be introducing bread boards to students. There will be some hands-on activity once you have completed a review. |
